"Damaging stories about ourselves are sort of like myths that no one really wants to read but that get knitted together anyway into the collection of stories that become our false life narrative. Trauma is the author of these false narratives, and if we don't take an active hand in the editing process, we'll be stuck with stories that work against us."

Our Code of Ethics, Constitution, and Grievance Policy are more than nice ideas. They were written and peer reviewed with the public interest in mind and a deep desire in our hearts to elevate the esteem of hypnotherapy within the medical system. We are committed to a long term vision of widespread public accessibility to hypnotherapy as a safe, non-invasive treatment and preventative therapy for a broad spectrum of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual concerns.
This "Code of Ethics" provides a common set of values upon which members build their professional, educational, training and scientific work and in accordance with the way they provide such services to members and non-members. The code is intended to provide the guiding principles to cover situations that may be encountered by members, customers, clients and/or patients. It has as its primary goal the welfare and protection of the individuals and groups with whom members work. Members aspire to the highest possible standards of conduct, respect and protection of human and civil rights.
Founded in 2020 by Dr. J. Eric Gentry and Jenny Brackman, Forward-Facing® Institute creates resilience through coaching, consulting, certification, books and training.
